I got the NFT I had stolen from me back.

Assuming the hacker had no interest in keeping the NFT I figured I'd be able to purchase it off of him for cheap by putting in a low bid. I created a new account and made an offer well below the floor, minimum price work in the particular collection are selling for. Nothing was selling for less than .2 Ethereum (ETH). I put in a bid for .1. I considered going lower, but I wanted to make it look at least somewhat legitamte. He took the bait and I received the art work I coveted. 

The unfortunate side effect is that now I've created a new floor. Now everything in the collection is selling for at least .1 ETH.

I still believe in the artist and the work, and my intent is not to flip it and make money - maybe I will one day in the distant future.  Today I just wanted my first digital art to be something of particular meaning and importance to me, and more widely the art world.
